Sunday Sketch at Vulcan Volcano

This area may look stark, but there is lots to see. Let's take a closer look! Join me for 2 1/2 hour guided sketching session. Bring your sketchbook and materials that you'd like to use to sketch. Keep in mind you need to carry everything in your backpack.
We'll hike from the parking lot and walk the loop trail to Vulcan Volcano. The bulk of the sketching will take place on the trail that crosses through Vulcan. As we sketch, it's not about how "good" your sketches are, but how it feels to be outside in the elements and slowing down for this experience. The cost is $20 per person. Notes about the hike:
~ 2 miles trail round trip
Degree of difficulty: moderate
There are no trees, bring a hat. It can get windy here!
The trail is not paved. The surface varies from sandy to rocky.
Bring a walking stick/s if balance is a concern.
There are pit toilets at the parking lot. No charge to park.
Also, bring a backpack for materials, water, snacks, and shoes with a good grip.
