💥 Mashups 💥

This is part of my practice that I refer to as “Mashups”. They have evolved over the years and first wrote about it in January 2021. When I am stuck, need to look at things differently, or take a break from the canvas I pull out the tray of my crops to “mashup” different styles, colors, or marks to make a new piece. Typically I mix and match while sitting on the floor as my cat sleeps by my side. The collages are assembled at the art table with artist tape and signed/dated on the back. Thankfully, many are dated from when they were originally made and all can all after the title. Many bits and pieces are pre-COVID and COVID time.
